Bachelor thesis deals with key country risks associated with the internation-alization of Czech, from the engineering industry, SMEs and how can eliminate or hedge against them. The theoretical background deals with the concepts of globali-zation, internationalization, the internationalization of SMEs, on the possibility of entering foreign markets and country risks associated with foreign markets and the possibility of securing against them. In the practical part characterizes the Czech engineering and based on secondary data is treated the development of the main indicators of the internationalization of Czech engineering SMEs. The practi-cal part is based on processing of survey results and individual semi-structured interviews. At the same time, there are specified key country risks which the Czech engineering SMEs face in foreign markets, and other specifications of their interna-tionalization.
Prevention of Risks in International Trade

Doing business is always accompanied by risks. International trade usually brings new types of risk or at least increases the frequency and intensity of the current ones. The main objective of this thesis is to identify the risks that may arrise for Czech exporters in international operations and to present the possibilities of risk management (especially management of credit and country risk). The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter provides a classification of risks. The second one describes phases of international business operations and provides a detailed explanation of selected instruments (bank guarantees, letters of credit, insurance, purchase of receivables etc.). Last chapter consists of two business cases inspired by contracts of Solar Turbines.
Risks of the Greek market through the eyes of Czech entrepreneurs and traders

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to identify the most common risks which can be seen at Greek market through the eyes of Czech entrepreneurs and traders. The goal is also to show examples how can one defend oneself against these risks and also how can one minimize them. This thesis is divided into 3 parts. The introductory part shows examples of international business risks and points out the most common ones which are then closely described. The second part is aimed at the structure and volume of international trade between the Czech Republic and Greece. The third part is the most important part as it mentions specifically the most common risks at the Greek market and also ways how to deal with them. This thesis is based on literature and internet sources of Czech and also foreign origin.

Risks of the Tunisian market through the eyes of Czech exporters

The main goal of my bachelor thesis is to find, analyse and demonstrate throught the eyes of Czech exporters risks occuring in the Tunisian market.The paper could serve as a source of information for potencial investors, Czech exporters and traders. The thesis is divided into three parts. The introductory part provides theoretical information about the most common risks in the international trade. The second chapter deals with a Czech-Tunisian trade and economic cooperation and also describes the current status of the relative trade. The third chapter creats the crucial part of the whole thesis. The selected risks of the Tunisian market and possibilities of their reduction or their complete prevention are analysed here. The thesis is based on Czech and foreign literature and lot of internet sources, statistics, tables and reports were used. But the basic source of particular information, opinions and experience was a made questionnaire survey among Czech companies and businessmen, who have experience with trading in the region of Tunisia.
